The main objective of the project is to deliver a machine learning approach for the continuously responsive industrial manufacture of high value film coatings.
Throughout the life of the project, we aim to engage with industry, academia and the general public about our research and our findings.
We aim to produce approx. 20 open access research publications which will be added to this page as and when they are published.
We also aim to promote the findings of the project via attendance at science fairs and other outreach opportunities that present during the course of the project.
Impact
The impact of our research will be measured via regular meetings between the academic and industrial partners.
We will test our research using manufacturing trials, and by liaising with industrial partners about our findings. This will ensure that we are constantly referencing the impact of our research in the real-world manufacturing environment.
